THE BOOK PART OF THE NOISE MACHINE IS RUNNING OUT OF GAS

This article in BuzzFeed isn't very incisive although it did show me that the mainstream conservative book industry, once dominated by Regnery, hasn't gotten much acceptance from the general public.  Of 8 books written by conservative politicians, only one (Marco Rubio's) has sold more than 30,000 copies and the worst performer was Jeb Bush's book which sold less than 4,600 copies.

Word is, Rand Paul took a strictly non-interventionist line on Ukraine, then got mildly hawkish when Rubio did his Cold War redux act.

Too bad, if true.
