His literally hysterical remark about ISIS:
“This is a war we’re fighting, it is not a counterterrorism operation! This is not Somalia; this is not Yemen; this is a turning point in the war on terror. Our strategy will fail yet again. This president needs to rise to the occasion before we all get killed back here at home.”
was matched by our illustrious Secretary of Defense, Charles Hagel:
Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel warned of the threat posed by militants from the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS or ISIL), calling the group an "imminent threat to every interest we have."

And Hagel as supposed to be a
moderate. But here is the gist.
ISIS was assigned to get Assad and failed. That's when it slipped off its chain and went to Iraq. The plan is still to get Hezbollah, Syria then Iran, Israel's biggest enemies.
