I went to the filterable chart at Reuters and found that only 9.7% of Americans strongly support peaceful secession. I expected these folks to be mostly old, white and Republican, so I selected those options (white, 60+ and Voted For Romney) and the numbers are surprising: Strongly Support only gets 8.6%.
The 18-29 age group (12.9%) and the 30-39 (16%) age group have the largest percentage of Strongly Support responses.
