POLITICO  has a decent article about the Republican War on Science and as of this writing, it's gotten 11,122 comments.   That's close to a record and because of so many posts that are irrelevant, such as this one -

In the 1930's a majority of German scientists, funded by the Third Reich, reached a consensus that Aryans were the master race. The science was settled.

that I'm wondering if this thread is evidence of a right-wing campaign to manipulate social media?
