SANITIZING AMERICAN CONSERVATISM
David Brooks has wasted another column in the NY Times on an imaginary history of conservatives in America. In Brooks' version of conservative history, there is no John Birch Society, Barry Goldwater or Phyllis Schlafly and F.A. Hayek in 1960 never accused American conservatives of being unprincipled.
