RADIO TIDBITS

Tammy Bruce, a member of the editorial board of PantLoad Media, had wingnut LeShawn Barber on her show and they talked about the glories of Intelligent Design and why it should be taught in school. Tammy mentioned that religion and science both require faith because atoms can't be seen. LeShawn agreed, proving once again that wingnuts are ill-informed.

Scanning Tunneling Microscopy provides atom-level images of materials and was discovered in 1981 by two IBM research scientists. Below is a colorized version of an early atom-by-atom manupulation using the STM to make the famous IBM logo. You can see more pictures here.
