BOORTZ, LIKE OTHER CONSERVATIVES, WALLOWS IN RACISM

Today, Neal the Nasty repeated his claim that the NBA was full of thugs and then backed off a bit and and instead claimed they were "tattooed creeps." Boortz then went onto smear Hispanic golfers by saying that on the golf course, they dress like Chippenfale dancers. This is a recurring theme in wingnut world. Fats Limbaugh made similar comments about the NBA in 2004 (from MediaMatters):

LIMBAUGH: You just gotta be who you are, and I think it's time to get rid of this whole National Basketball Association. Call it the TBA, the Thug Basketball Association, and stop calling them teams. Call 'em gangs. ... They're going in to watch the Crips and the Bloods out there wherever the neighborhood is where the arena happens to be, and be who you are.

This racist thinking isn't limited to radio hate mongers like O'Reilly, Boortz, Bennet (1, 2, 3) or Limbaugh - even the president of the Claremont Institute is bothered by brown people.
