GONZO PERJURED HIMSELF

ThinkProgress and Balkanization have the goods:

Abu AL lied when he said there was no internal dissent about the NSA wiretap program. He claimed, falsely, that there was dissent about another heretofore unknown intelligence program and that's the one he went to get re-authorized at Ashcroft's bedside. Abu Al also falsely claimed that members of Congress were briefed on this other program.
