HAS THE GOP GIVEN UP?

I noted below that the top 4 GOP presidential candidates blew off an important part of the GOP base, the Fundies, when they decided not to attend a debate hosted by "Values Voters." Matt at ThinkProgress observes that the top 4 have also skipped on 3 debates, hosted by Blacks, Hispanics and Gays. I suppose they can get away with skipping the Gay debate but if they keep on ignoring Blacks and Hispanics, they're doomed.
