(Via Atrios) Matt Yglesias points out that Charles Krauthammer, a wingnut hack, has been woefully myopic about Iraq and STILL gets published by the WaPo. Yglesias catalgues a few on Krauthammer's previous stupidities about Iraq but the real porblem is the wingnuts have successfully infected the MSM and no almost no one in the MSM seems willing to call them on their absurdities and ignorance. We certainly can't expect fact-free columnists like David Brooks to do so because he's just another part of the GOP Noise Machine.
Lewis Powell's project has come to fruition and our national discourse has suffered greatly.
