IS REDSTATE THE "OFFICIAL" GOP BLOG?

I noted before that RedState had a lot of posts from GOP congress critters (and Freddie the Hutt) and Eric Boehlert found that the WH also likes the site:

Days later the White House rewarded Redstate.com for its litany of Frost attacks by sending the site an exclusive statement regarding the upcoming SCHIP vote. (That kind of White House nod is considered to be a major coup among the right-wing blogs.)

I just took a peek and it seems RedState is heavily into election politics.
