In this post on Swampland, he asks why the neo-cons are so quiet about Pakistan, home to Al Qaeda training camps, and so noisy about Iran. His answer: Iran is a threat to Israel, Pakistan isn't. I think this is a valid point and it calls to mind what Russell Kirk said almost 20 years ago.
