The London Times op-ed pages seem to resemble the wingnut crap we find at the NY Post or the WSJ. Today there's one proclaiming all the progress in Iraq and wondering why the MSM isn't broadcasting this 24/7. Let's repeat this once more: The point of the Surge was political reconsciliation. There has been none. Therefore, the Surge FAILED. Even George F. Will can grasp that.
In the comments for this op-ed, you'll read a lot of wingnut Americans and I suspect most of them aren't regular readers of the Times but were lead there by wingnut bloggers. When given the slightest opportunity to clap louder, they are all over it.
