Rove is still beating the Fear Drum and lying about Democrats and just about anything else that shows the criminal Bush regime has been a miserable failure. The Hill reported on a speech he gave a group of state GOP executive directors at the Republican National Committee’s (RNC) winter meeting. He asserted a gasbag radio point - "the surge is working"- when most people know that there has been little or no political progress in Iraq and THAT was the whole point of Teh Surge. He also lies about the FISA issue, falsely implying that Democrats do "not want our intelligence officials to be listening in on terrorists’ conversations in the Middle East who may … be plotting to hurt America?”
The Washington Times also reported on Rove's talk and included this tiny bit of meanness:
Mr. Rove called the presidential election a YouTube campaign and said Republicans should refer to Mrs. Clinton as "Senator Clinton," because "Hillary" humanizes and personalizes her too much.
