WRIGHT & PECK & THE WINGNUTS
According to Roland Martin of CNN, Pastor Wright was referring to remarks by Edward Peck, former U.S. Ambassador to Iraq and deputy director of President Reagan’s terrorism task forece, when Wright spoke about "chickens coming home to roost" on 9-11. I couldn't find a report of Peck's statement using Lexis/Nexis but the Carpetbagger Report does have the video and it clearly indicates that Martin is correct.

Mostly its the "chicken-hawks" who sweep the "chickens coming home to roost" reality under the rug with "they hate us for our freedom" crap. Polls throughout the widespread Islamic world consistently say American bases/meddling (as in the overthrow of Mossadegh,subsidizing of the Shah)in their regions, and marked tilt to Israel, is what their citizens find most objectionable.
