GAS PRICES ARE GETTING A LOT OF ATTENTION

USA Today has an interesting article about how consumers are changing their behavior because of high gasoline prices. Kevin Drum extracted this graph from the article to show that we are beginning to drive less:



In another article in USA Today, we learn that people are switching to other means of transportation, such as mass transit, van pooling, scooters. Gas prices are unlikely to ever come down again so these changes in behavior, if they last, could spell good news for those of us who are concerned about global warming.
