McCAIN "VERY COMPETITIVE" WITH HISPANICS?

That's what NPR/FAUX News Mara Liasson said on Morning Edition today ("States' Party Allegiances Shifty") and she attributed that to McCain's position on immigration reform. This is another blunder for 2 reasons. First, McCain has flip-flopped on immigration so it's not clear that his earlier support for reasonable reform is still a plus with Hispanics. Second, a recent NBC/WSJ poll shows that Obama is doing VERY well among Hispanics:
In the head-to-head matchup, Obama leads McCain among African Americans (83-7 percent), Hispanics (62-28), women (52-33), Catholics (47-40), independents (41-36) and even blue-collar workers (47-42).
