ANOTHER COUNTER-MEME

There's been some noise in the media about why Obama isn't much further ahead of McCain in the polls and the wingnuts have taken some solace in this way of framing the numbers. Another way of looking at it is to use one of their memes against them. In this case, it would be their oft-repeated claim that America is a "center-right" country. If that were true, then McCain should be leading in the polls because he's the closest to "center-right" of all the major GOP figures.
