BRENDAN MINITER DOESN'T REALIZE IT...

but he gets to the heart of the GOP's problem and it's not in the title of his WSJ op-ed - "No Room for RINOs" - it's in what he calls the GOP's "core principles" as described by GOP Governor Mark Sanford:

lower taxes, smaller government and individual liberty

The GOP really stands for lower taxes for the top 5% and the rest of us get crumbs. If the GOP had a real belief in smaller government and individual liberty, it would never have neddled in the Schiavo case. Miniter doesn't seem to get that the Fundies WANT an intrusive government because they want to impose their "values" on the rest of us.
