FATS, THE BABY JESUS AND A MASS MURDERER

Over the last few weeks, I've heard Limbaugh and Hannity try to fight "socialism" by beating the drum for rugged individualism. Fats said that people are better off taking care of themselves, as if the ordinary person could've done anything about the Wall Street thieves, and Hannity urged his listeners to "become the master of your own destiny." The latter sounded familiar and then I remembered that's a paraphrase from the poem Timothy McVeigh chose to be his final statement before being executed. The title is "Invictus" and the last two lines are:
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.
