A GLOOMY POST

I recall reading in the Financial Times (maybe a year or two ago) that a female economic analyst said that Americans had been living well beyond their means and were due for a reduction in living standards. Until now, I haven't come across much hard evidence that this is a realistic description, until now (h/t Barry Ritholtz). Click on for larger image.
