Fats Limbaugh shares his opinions about Americans and it's not pretty no matter how his apologists spin it. Near the beginning of his rant, he uses "some" -
You can try, under the guise of fairness and so forth, but some people are self-starters, and some people are born lazy. Some people are born victims. Some people are just born to be slaves. Some people are born to put up with somebody else making every decision for them.
At the end, he provides us with a darker view by using "most" -
Most people are not self-starters. ... Because most people are not self-starters. Most people don't push themselves. They have to be pushed. To be shown. ... It's just probably a matter of intelligent design. The vast majority of people are not self-starters. And in a way, it all works out. Because virtu-- everybody's needed for something.

The Democratic party and the "progressive" philosophy exists for the very purpose of catering to those who struggle with self-motivation. If Limbaugh's statement is correct, the left should find it easy to push their agenda. If Limbaugh is incorrect, we should expect to see the political pendulum swing to the right.
Not sure why this statement is getting so much attention. Shouldn't liberals be focusing their attention on trying to limit damage from the massive defeat that's coming on Nov 2?
