Back in 2008, I was canvassing for Giffords and after work, I managed to get two Giffords signs for my windows. As I was going home on the city bus, a young Hispanic man who seemed a little buzzed expressed anger at Giffords because she was going to "raise his taxes."
In 2010, I was having a cigarette just outside the Giffords canvassing office and a young Hispanic man walked by and uttered a few curses about Giffords.
