THIS HAPPENED TO ME

Over a year ago I was posting on POLITICO and one female poster took exception to my liberal viewpoint and took the time to do a WHOIS lookup.  She found out that I was logged in on a University of Arizona system and threatened to complain to university officials that I was using state resources to post political propaganda.  She believed that I was a state employee using state resources for personal use.  Nothing came of this because I am not a state employee and the resources I used are open to the general public.  A professor in Wisconsin may not be so lucky.
