WHAT IS WITH ALL THE MICKEY MOUSE STUFF IN THE HOUSE?

I can understand that because abortion is a major issue for the Fundies, the House GOP efforts to eliminate it are somewhat rational but I just don't get cheap political stunts like holding a hearing about "In God We Trust" as America's motto.
