I think it's time for me to write about the late Christopher Hitchens: He was an asshole.

They of course listed the Iraq pullout and said although Obama had originally called it a "dumb war" he had come round (showing him addressing the troops) to say it was a success because it brought Iraq a stable democracy.

Like Ian Welsh says, Obama is a bad man. That same day Iraq had about 52 casualities in Baghdad and yesterday, the insurgents killed at least 7 at a government building. Obama knows the insurgency was not defeated, that the surge did not work and that Iraq is not anything near a democracy by America's standards. Yet he not only failed to attempt to prosecute the WMD liars, he pressured Iraq's government to extend the troop stay, failed, and ultimately lied about the entire project--and bolstered atmosphere for an attack on Iran should the Lobby will it.

Meet The Press had a far better segment on Iraq, the host not giving any impression the war was a success from any perspective.; 12:05 PM
