1. Accept higher tax rates for high income earners.
The president, I believe, won this point during the election. The exit polls from the 2012 election show that Americans support his plan for increasing tax rates for higher income earners. The rate is set to go from 35 percent to 39.6 percent. So let it happen!

Ruddy does want to decrease taxes on the middle and lower classes so the overall tax changes will be revenue neutral but this still goes against the myth of "the producers" pushed my many conservatives to justify continuing the low rates.
