LYING & DENIAL ARE THE REAL CONSERVATIVE PRINCIPLES

I was delighted to read that Lawrence O'Donnell called out Newt Gingrich for Newt's 20 year old hysterical claims about the effects of the Clinton tax increases:

“The tax increase will kill jobs and lead to a recession, and the recession will force people out of work and onto unemployment and actually increase the deficit.”

That was pretty much the standard GOP attack line back then and I think it's great that Newt was called out publicly.

All Newt could do was lie.
