IF YOU EVER THOUGHT ROBERT KAPLAN WAS WORTH READING...

this sentence from his latest attempt to make imperialism acceptable should forever disabuse you of that idea:
The dread of imperial-like retribution that accompanied Henry Kissinger’s 1970s shuttle diplomacy in the Middle East is nowhere apparent.
Kissinger FAILed, so Kaplan, like so many other pundits, is self-refuting.

After Kissinger got the Nobel, Obama getting one for merely nothing seemed an innocuous joke. Until the droning started, anyway.
