HOW COME HORRID PEOPLE ARE STILL IN THE NEWS/OPINION MEDIA?

My example will be George Will, who had a disgusting op-ed published in the WaPo and the NY Post last week that included this:
...when they make victimhood a coveted status that confers privileges, victims proliferate.
Atrios found several other horrible remarks by Will, including these:
A candidate can succeed in giving an aggrieved minority a voice -- e.g., George Wallace, speaking for people furious about the '60s tumults. LINK
But the minimum wage should be the same everywhere: $0. Labor is a commodity; governments make messes when they decree commodities' prices. Washington, which has its hands full delivering the mail and defending the shores, should let the market do well what Washington does poorly. But that is a good idea whose time will never come again. Will doesn't seem to realize, perhaps because it is so lucrative, how uncivil his thoughts are.
