CRITICIZING BUSH

The conservatives were very upset when The Donald pointed out the 9/11 did happen Bush was President but Ben Carson's latest claims go far beyond that.
Ben Carson: We could have caught bin Laden sooner

Washington (CNN) - Ben Carson repeated on Sunday his claim that President George W. Bush could have used oil as leverage to capture Osama bin Laden.

Then, Carson brought up Iraq.

"Well here's the point -- here's my point. My point is, we we had other ways that we could have done things. I personally don't believe that invading Iraq was an existential threat to us. I don't think Saddam Hussein was an existential threat to us. It's a very different situation right now. Now, we have global jihadists who want to destroy us and our way of life," he said.

Well, okay, you're a charitable guy but militant jihadists aren't an existential threat to the
US either.
The US even funds them at times to fight 'baddies' like the USSR and Assad out of Benghazi.
Now if they ever develop an army or navy, Ben Carson might have the excuse to promote
more intervention abroad.

I agree but they are a threat to many defenseless people.
