I'M LOVING THIS

The GOP is facing an existential crisis and most members just don't get it. Here's the problem: for the forseeable future, the GOP won't be a majority party as long as it continues to pander to the Fundies BUT without the Fundies, the GOP will be a minority party for decades.

The Talk Radio faction of the GOP wants to continue the pandering but moderates like Voinovich and Hatch want to cut loose and start rebuilding. If I were betting, I'd say the gasbags win this round.
