WHY PAT BUCHANAN STILL GETS AIR TIME

I don't know why but the media often portrays right-wing positions as mainstream. All kinds of wingnut wackos can appear on cable TV and we almost never hear from anyone who holds a comparable position on the left. This bias extends to the debates on several issues, notably abortion. The anti-abortion point always gets an airing in the news and seems to be the default acceptable position despite the fact that abortion is legal.
